Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Born on December 2 1981, in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model who is well-known for her appearances on movies and television shows. Brandt was a model and actress who started her career as an actor in New Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom she was able to make her American debut with the role as Naevia as part of the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Since then, she has appeared in numerous television shows, including those from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Brandt is currently appearing as Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt grew up in Cape Town South Africa. When she reached her late teens, she relocated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand along with her mother and siblings. Brandt started her modelling career with ads and commercials. Her meteoric rise as a model began while she worked in the retail industry and recruitment for information technology. She played Leilani who was a native of New Zealand in the comedy Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. Then, in 2021 she made her first big appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She was a slave named Naevia. The character of Naevia is also reprised by her on the Spartacus miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She co-starred with the actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In the year 2016, Mazikeen began her role as a bounty hunting demon in the Netflix smash hit Lucifer. It is her largest role so far. The show stars alongside Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
